The Restrict COD by Customer Tag feature enables you to limit the availability of Cash on Delivery (COD) payment options based on specific customer tags. This helps you streamline payment methods and ensure better payment relibility , enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

How It Works​

When this feature is enabled, you can assign tags (e.g., "No-COD", "Prepaid Only") to specific customer accounts. Customers with these tags will not see COD as an available payment option during checkout.

Example​

  • Example 1: A store tags customers with frequent COD order cancellations as "No-COD" to reduce financial risks.
  • Example 2: VIP customers tagged as "Priority" are allowed unrestricted access to COD, while others are restricted.
