The Restrict COD based on Discount Amount feature allows you to control the availability of Cash on Delivery (COD) payment options for orders with discounts exceeding a specified amount. This feature helps you manage risks effectively and profit margins, and maintain payment flexibility, ensuring that discounted orders align with your financial policies.

How It Works​

When this feature is enabled, you can set a discount threshold (e.g., $50 the order value). If the discount applied to an order exceeds this threshold, the COD payment option is automatically disabled at checkout. Customers must use a prepaid payment method for these orders.

Example​

  • A store offers a $75 discount on select items but disables COD for orders where the discount exceeds $50.
