How to show Cash on Delivery only for some collection

This guide will walk you through the steps to show the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option for specific collections in your Shopify store. By following this guide, you'll be able to customize the availability of the COD payment method based on the products in your customers' carts. Step-by-Step Instructions​

Step 1: Install the Advanced Cash on Delivery App​

  1. Go to the Shopify App Store.
  2. Search for Advanced Cash on Delivery.
  3. Click on the Install button to add the app to your store.

Step 2: Open the Advanced Cash on Delivery App​

  1. Navigate to Apps in your Shopify admin dashboard.
  2. Select Advanced Cash on Delivery to open it.

Step 3: Configure the App to Enable COD Based on Product​

  1. Inside the app, locate the Limit COD Based on Product option.
  2. Click on the Configure button.

Step 4: Select Your Cash on Delivery Method​

  1. Inside the app, choose your cash on delivery method from the payment method dropdown.

Step 5: Add Fee for Cash on Delivery (Optional)​

  1. If you want to charge a fee for COD, toggle on the option to enable fees.
  2. Select your cash on delivery shipping method from the delivery method dropdown.

Step 6: Select Collection Option​

  1. In the app settings, choose the Collection option.

Step 7: Enable the Feature​

  1. Switch the status to Enabled.

  1. In the Match Type, select Show COD for Some Collections.

  1. Select the collection(s) for which you want to enable COD.

Testing the Setup​

Test Case 1: Collection with COD Enabled​

  1. Open your online store.
  2. Select a product from the collection where COD was enabled.
  3. Add the product to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  4. Verify that the COD payment option is available for this collection.
