How to Hide Cash on Delivery Based on Discount amount applied ?

Step-by-Step Instructions​

Step 1: Install the Advanced Cash on Delivery App​

Go to the Shopify App Store and install the Advanced Cash on Delivery app.

Step 2: Open the Advanced Cash on Delivery App​

  1. Navigate to Apps in your Shopify admin dashboard.
  2. Select Advanced Cash on Delivery to open it.

Step 3: Access COD Discount Limitation Settings​

Click on the Limit COD Based on Discount Configure button in the app dashboard.

Step 4: Select Your Payment Method​

From the Payment Method dropdown, select your Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method.

Step 5: (Optional) Toggle COD Fee​

If you've already added a fee for COD, toggle the button to enable it. Ensure that your Cash on Delivery shipping method is added for compatibility with the app settings.

Step 6: Enable Discount Amount Limitation Setting​

  1. Locate the Discount Amount setting.
  2. Change its status to Enabled.

Step 7: Configure Discount Amount Rules​

  1. From the Discount Amount dropdown, select Hide COD Based on Discount Amount.

  1. From the Condition dropdown, select Greater Than or Equal.

Testing the Configuration​

Test 1: Discount Amount Exceeds Threshold​

  1. Open Your Online Store

    Select products and add them to your cart.

  3. Proceed to Checkout

    Apply a discount code with a discount amount greater than or equal to the configured threshold.

  4. Verify COD Visibility

    Confirm that the Cash on Delivery payment option is not visible.
